Creatif is pleased to announce participation in the inaugural ‘Clerkenwell Open’ event, taking place 9th and 10th September 2021.
The event has been jointly organised by the BCFA (British Contract Furniture Association) and WOD (Women In Office Design), and will celebrate the reopening of the Clerkenwell Furniture and Design showrooms, providing a focus for participating companies to encourage their existing and potential clients to visit showrooms once again.
To ensure that all the showrooms taking part can be visited over the two days, the number of locations will be limited to 40 of Clerkenwell’s leading destinations. Expect to see the latest innovative solutions in workspace design, educational seminars from industry thought-leaders and of course the chance to reconnect with your existing network while meeting some new faces.
When speaking about the event, Harsha Kotak (Founder of WOD and Co-Founder of the Clerkenwell Open) said “The A&D community has missed out on networking and learning in last year and with Clerkenwell Open festival we endeavour to bring designers, specifiers and workplace experts together, to socialise and share ideas and knowledge through our seminars and workshops.”

Although Creatif’s showroom at 79 Clerkenwell Road has been open to appointments for a number of months now, the Clerkenwell Open will mark the venue’s first major event in over 18 months.
“It’s been a long time coming.” said Creatif’s Head of Marketing, Ben Speight. “The workspace design industry is constantly evolving, and for obvious reasons the last 12 or so months have seen an unprecedented level of change in the ways we work, collaborate, communicate and commute. It will be really great to see how these behavioural changes have impacted and influenced new products and ways of thinking.”
Several updates have recently taken place at the showroom, with more planned ahead of the event. Showroom Manager, Kirsty Ripo, said “It’s been really great getting back into the showroom and being able to welcome clients back in over the last few months, and the Clerkenwell Open is another great opportunity to showcase all of the new solutions we have on show. I think I speak for the whole team when I say that we can’t wait to see everybody in attendance.”
