Offices and working areas should sound as good as they look. Unfortunately, that’s not always the case. With this in mind, we've crafted an acoustics-based webinar to take place on Tuesday 1st June at 9:00am to help understand how you can get the basics right when it comes to workspace acoustic design. Noise in the workplace is inescapable. One study, referenced by the workplace journal ‘The Leesman Review’, found that 99% of people surveyed reported that their concentration was impaired by office noise such as unanswered phones and background speech.
And in today’s post-pandemic workspace world, we are anticipating a workforce that will be even more sensitive to obtrusive workspace noise that has been absent from so many of our working lives the past year. This situation will not only have an impact on the people, but the business as well. It is therefore essential that post-pandemic workspace design considers this and workspace designers get the basics right.
