We believe that offices and working areas should sound as good as they look. Unfortunately, that’s not always the case.
Noise in the workplace is inescapable. One study, referenced by the workplace journal ‘The Leesman Review’, found that 99% of people surveyed reported that their concentration was impaired by office noise such as unanswered phones and background speech.
This not only has an impact on the individual, but it also affects businesses as well. Research has shown it can take people twenty-minutes or more to regain concentration and that’s causing countless ‘lost hours’ of unproductivity.
But despite that, workplace acoustics is often misunderstood and retrospectively addressed.
With that in mind, we’ve partnered with Dale Office Interiors to create an interactive and educational presentation which aims to break down the complexity around sound. We’ll cut through the jargon and technicalities and help you understand some of the most important things when it comes to creating a workspace that will truly sound as good as it looks.
